Long ago, in a galaxy far away, Betsy Devine and Frank Wilczek thought it would be fun to create a Mac application that would tell random jokes and/or randomly laugh at the whim of a user. Much fun and much work later we had an application that (Microsoft informed us) could have been coded by one intern over one summer.

About two minutes after we got this bad news from Microsoft, Apple informed us that they were introducing a totally new operating system, called OS X.

Meh, so it goes. But the fun we had was still great fun, and the URL we bought is still a great URL. And the future lies ahead.
